The Rear Backup Camera

Backing up using a traditional rearview mirror is hard work. The Ford Flex’s Rear View Camera makes it easy. It provides a wide view of the trajectory directly behind you, feeding the live image to a large in-dash screen. The camera view includes backup grids to help you back up in straight lines. The grid comes in extra handy when Pella parking spaces are tight or when you need to hitch up a trailer.

Blind Spot Information System (BLIS)

The Ford Flex’s BLIS feature alerts you to vehicles that enter your blind spot, helping you change lanes, merge or pass safely and confidently. The same feature works with the Ford Flex’s Cross Traffic Alert. Its an audible and a visual alert issued when Ford Flex detects vehicles crossing behind you as you back up. The feature’s sensors can detect crossing traffic up to 15 yards away.
