Technology Features to Consider in the New Ford Escape

When we took delivery of the Ford Escape at Ulrich Ford Lincoln, we knew this popular crossover was going to be the vehicle to own this year.

Taking the new Ford Escape on the road is going to be safer once you activate the Adaptive Cruise Control. Unlike systems in the past, radar technology is used to scan the road ahead once the desired speed has been selected, scanning for a lead vehicle to create a buffer zone so the vehicle can speed up or slow down on its own to maintain this zone.

The Pre-Collision Assist feature that is in the new Ford Escape is going to help not only identify a threat of a crash but bring the car to a stop too. If the sensors detect a risk of a collision, the driver will receive a series of warning flashes before the braking system is slowed down so the vehicle comes to a safe stop.
